
Sergey Savchenko is a director of photography. He entered the profession through several disciplines simultaneously — editing, directing, color grading. This gave him an understanding of the entire production cycle and helped him quickly find his own voice in the professional community. In his work he seeks to invest emotion and character into the image through camera movement and light, using the language of metaphor in directing and editing.
He has worked as a DP on TV series, federal television promos and advertising campaigns. Shot documentary films in Europe and Moscow for Channel One, worked in New York. PROMAX BDA laureate. Participation in the Salym Petroleum project awarded the Golden Dolphin at the Cannes festival.
Collaborated with Yandex, Siemens, Salym Petroleum, Lamborghini, Haier, Channel One, TOKIO Towers, Nerf, DELANO Millwork and others across advertising, documentary, and television production in Russia and internationally.
